a quiet journal

five minutes a day.
patterns over months.

JotMood is a quiet journal. you tap a mood. you write a gratitude. over time, you see what was actually going on.

the mood palette

five colors, no scores.

moods aren't numbers. they're closer to weather. so we painted them, soft and imperfect, the way you'd find them in a sketchbook.

  • tender

    soft places that need care.

  • steady

nothing to write home about. that's the point.

  • bright

the morning you woke up before the alarm.

  • tired

the day arrived before you did.

  • stormy

    something is moving through you.

on stormy days, we don't ask you to perform gratitude. we just ask what happened.

three quiet things

not six features. three.

the tap. one second to record a mood.

no friction. open JotMood, choose a color from your palette, close it. that's the whole interaction on a day you don't have time for anything else.

the gratitude prompt. small, daily, not performative.

one line. the cashier who smiled. the way light fell at 4pm. we don't grade it. you don't have to mean it every day. you just have to come back to it.

the pattern. over a month, JotMood quietly notices.

tuesdays are heavier. the week before your period is tender. the third quarter at work pulls a certain color out of you. the AI reads only your own entries, and shows you only what's already there.

the pattern reveal

a week, painted.

tuesdays are heavier

tuesdays are heavier. the third week of each month is tender.
you wouldn't have noticed unless something was watching.

soft answers

questions, asked honestly.

will i be guilt-tripped if i miss days?
no. there are no streaks, no red marks, no badges to lose. when you come back after a week away, we just ask what happened. that's the whole greeting.
is my journal private?
entries are encrypted on your device. they sync to your account, but we can't read them and we never sell them. you can export everything as plain text, or delete it all, in two taps.
will the AI judge me?
it doesn't judge — it notices. once a month, it reads only your own entries and shows you patterns you might have missed. you can turn that off entirely; the journal still works.
what about the days i forget to write?
they stay blank. blank is information too. a string of blank days often becomes the thing you want to ask about later — and we won't pretend they didn't happen.
can i use it on the days i'm doing well?
yes. JotMood isn't a tool for crisis — it's a tool for ordinary weeks, where most of life happens. the bright days matter to the pattern as much as the stormy ones.
